Couples Ocho Rios????
 

We have been tp Couples Negril, which was fantastic...but was thinking maybe Couples Ocho Rios this time, how is it compared to CN, rooms? are the updated? etc etc???<BR><BR>Thanks alot in advance!

Angela - I just returned from COR and loved it. If you search under Jamaica on this forum you will see the post of my trip report. I have not been to CN so I cannot compare the two. If you have any questions after reading my post, please feel free to email me.

I would never go to Jamaica, because of the beggars and the poor people. We had a terrible experience in Jamaica

Andreaac,<BR>I TOTALLY agree, virtually anywhere you go, you will encounter impoverished areas..My first two experiences in Jamaica were wonderful- so I don't listen to someone who is replying to my mssage and contributes info which has NOTHING to do with my question..lol...<BR>Everything is IRIE!!!

We have been to all three Couples resorts. Negril is by far our overall favorite. OR is much older and the beach doesn't compare to Negril. It could use some room updates if that is important to you. We loved the island.<BR>It is windier in OR so the water is not as calm and makes watersports more difficult. We loved the excursions that were included in OR. We suggest the Split week between OR and Negril.<BR>They offer to fly u as the package deal between Or and Negril. Enjoyed the small plane and seeing the island from the air. Ck out ther website for specials ....

My wife and I have been to Couples Ocho Rios four times and we love it. The rooms did need some renovation and they did that last year--the renovation should be complete by now. It is windier in Ocho Rios and that sometimes kills watersports for a day. On the other hand, the wind off the sea makes it much cooler than Negril during the hotter months.
