Couples Negril / Swept Away Vs. Royal Hideway (Mexico)
 

Message: Was wondering if anyone could compare Royal Hideway in Playa Del Carmen with either Couples Negril or Couples Swept Away? The price is about the same for both. We went to Adventura Palace for our honeymoon and loved it, however, we are looking for an AI with a great beach for this trip.

Hi...havent been to either the ones you mentioned in Negril..but have been to Sandals Negril and Royal Hideaway as well as a few too many other AI'S in Cancun area.There is simply not another all -inclusive like Royal Hideaway..its awesome and unlike most AIS in terms of service and food.There is simply no comparison .The beach is awesome , the water perfect for swimming and the atmosphere refined without being stuffy. Its great.

Thanks capri767 for the response. How did the beach in Negril compare to the beach at Royal Hideaway?

Both beaches were great...its been several years since my Negril trip. Jamaica ,overall, is a prettier island but the ease of Playa is great and the water was awesome.

My husband and I stayed at Swept Away 3 years in a row! It is wonderful haven't been to a nicer place.
