Hey, Raggedyass and all the others, I am NOT worried about the cost of the food and drinks in Anguilla! I was just asking so that I would be more informed! Isn't that what this forum is for? DUH!

I am so sorry to hear that Koal Keel is closed, it was one of our favorites. Has anyone seen if Roni & Jo's ice cream cart still circles the island?

Ouch! Chill! Simmer down now..SuZanne. Don't have a fit about your responses. You brought it on yourself asking so many questions about the cost when you are going to stay at one of the most expensive resorts in the Caribbean!!! You will get a croissant, orange juice, coffee, and maybe fruit with that hefty room price for breakfast. Almost all the restaurants on the island are quite expensive. With the exception of a few, like Roy's (best fish & chips ever!) or Johnno's. (lobster) Old House is great for breakfast and lunch. If you don't get a rental car or taxi you will be stuck paying BIG prices for food at Cap Juluca. Straw Hat was one of our new favorites, but it is expensive & a bit of a drive. $50.00 a person is gonna get you food, but I think you better go to the liquor store when you arrive on the island! They have a great Anguilla (sipping)rum...I think it is called Pyrat??? Take some home, "if" you find it in the states it will cost $$$$$ BIG BUCKS! Hey, Cap Juluca has the BEST Pina Coladas in the world. You are on the beach...just put up that little flag on your umbrella and someone will be there within minutes from the bar. I think the Pina Coladas were around $7.00 several years ago...they are probably $10.00 now! If you get a rental car, just drive around the island and you'll find all kinds of great places to eat at. The island is only 16 miles long and 3 miles wide at its widest point! I'm jealous...wish I was going!

isn't jealousy wonderful? too bad the lease payments are so high on the mercedes that you can't afford a nice vacation. you probably scam old ladies with your construction and remodeling scams to make those payments as it is.
