They are both top notch timeshares. It would be a matter of preference as Costa Linda is in the low-rise area and Playa Linda is in the high-rise area on Palm Beach with the other high-rise hotels and there is more activity here.

Playa Linda is right next to the Hyatt, on more-crowded Eagle Beach. The advantage to that is you have access to everything as there are quite a few resorts, one after the other. I was there last March -- stayed at La Cabana (on Eagle Beach - wider and less crowded) I walked the beach down to Costa Linda and also walked through Costa Linda. It was definitely less crowded and quieter than Playa Linda. As the previous poster said, they are both great and I don't think you will be disappointed in either one. Next time I trade to Aruba, they will be my choices, although La Cabana is nice too.

The Playa Linda is on Palm Beach, the Costa Linda is on Eagle Beach. We have stayed at the Playa Linda 3 times (do not own timeshares anywhere) and think it is fantastic! In the last 2 years they have put quite a bit of money into the resort and it shows! The beach may be a little more crowded at the Playa Linda, but the beauty of Palm Beach makes up for that. Along with the lack of waves! If you have any further questions, please feel free to email me.

Go with Costa Linda it is located on the widest expanse of white sandy beach in the Caribbean check it out at www.costalinda.com

Must I mention that if you do book a three bedroom suite at Costa Linda you will have a huge size patio with your own private jacuzzi located in the huge patio of your room..

Both are indeed great resorts Playa Linda is located in the high rise area where all of the casino and watersport activities are..however your daughter can always take a cab to the high rise area which is located 5 minutes away from Costa Linda.

I hope they enjoy themselves in dushi (lovely) Aruba.

Now you have me thinking about LaCabana! We are looking for a great resort where the teens won't be bored but the young parent won't be either. The waterfalls at the pool looked great at the Playa, are the others's comparable?

I think Play Linda is the best!!!! I have a timeshare there and love it so much. The rooms are so nice and the staff is so nice and it is right on the beach you can walk to the Hyatt and all the way down the beach. Recommend it highly. I do have pics and brochure if needed just email me.....

What a tough decision! We own timeshare weeks at Costa Linda at the end of April, but we have also stayed at hotels on Palm Beach near Playa Linda. I've always had a good time on Palm Beach but it is really nice not to have to fight for space on the beach when we are at Costa Linda. As Eddy says, it is very wide and beautiful. And quieter. But when we want more activity, it is a very short bus ride to the high rise hotels on Palm Beach. Our 2 bedroom unit at Costa Linda is very spacious (1200 sq. ft.), but I have not seen the units at Playa Linda-their lobby and pool area is very nice though. Good luck and have fun, whatever you chose.
