Confused on where to stay

My husband and I will be in Curacao for 6 nights in January ( we are also going to Bonaire and Aruba for a week each). We would like to stay at a beachfront property. The Marriott (barring any special deals) is almost twice as much as the Hilton. Is it worth double the cost? Can you walk to the Marriott from the Hilton? How are the pools at each? I am also considering Breezes ...if we manage to get a room for $150/nt for 2 would it be a better option ultimately at that price over either the Hilton or Marriott? Any suggestions, input or advice would be appreciated.

We stayed at the Marriott last October and you cannot go wrong at this Marriott. At the time, the Hilton was a Sheraton. There is a pathway between the Marriott and the Hilton.

The pool at the Marriott was being renovated at the time but it is large. It didn't matter as the beach made up for it. The pool and beach at the Hilton are smaller than the Marriott.

We only had a short time in Curacao but I think the best beach for us was the Seaquarium Beach. Check out this site. It has loads of info about Curacao. http://www.caribline.com/islands/cr/crforum.shtml

The Marriott is very nice. In my opinion it is nicer than the Hilton. The pool is gorgeous, the service is fabulous, the restaurants are good. Ask for a ocean view.
I think the Marriott is supposed to be the nicest hotel on the island. We enjoyed it and you can snorkel right outside the Hotel. there is a reef with lots to see!

I did a quick search on Orbitz, and they have the Marriott for $129 ocean view, and $119 standard room with a view. I dont know your dates, but you should check it out, it sounds much cheaper than the rates you have been quoted

I was at the Marriott in May and I highly recommend it. Search the net for better prices, it is worth it!
