Compass Point, snorkeling

I don't know what happened to my previous post, but what I wanted to know is if there was snorkeling from the beach in front of Compass Point? Thank you, and have a nice weekend.

Which Compass Point ?

Compas Point on New Providence? There is a nice reef just off shore, and there are snorkle trips you can take as well.

The water there is fairly shallow, and the pier goes out a ways so you can jump in there or wade out from shore.

If you wanted to do a day trip you might take the fast ferry over to Harbour Island and do a snorkle trip with Valentine's Dive Center, great snorkleling off Harbour Island and Eleuthera.

Have a great time.

Yes, Compass Point, New Providence

Thank you for the info, sounds perfect for a short getaway without our children.

Have a great weekend!

Hi Emily:
I do not know what happened to the previous post but here is my reply again. There is a beautiful reef about 100 yards off shore from the small beach area at Compass Point. My family has vacationed here 3 times and each visit was GREAT.
The reef is teeming with fish. We've seen turtles, baracuda and even saw some porpoises last time there.
Feel free to contact me with any questions.
