College Graduation All Inclusive Resort
 

Graduating from college in the Spring and want to go with boyfriend to a nice all inclusive resort to celebrate. I am interested in an island that is lush with waterfalls, rainforest, etc. and a beautiful beach. Would like a moderate amount of things to do but doesn't need to be jammed with casino's, etc. We are traveling from North Carolina and will be going in June. Price should reflect a nice resort but not 5 stars, more like 4 stars or even 3.5. We are both 22 and have passports. My Mom wants us to go to a place that "safe". I am not interested in Jamacia, Puerto Rico or Belize but rather something like Grenda or St. Lucia.

Cab you help me please? This will be first trip without my parents!

Lush and beautiful beaches do not always go hand in hand. StJohn is beautiful and has nice beaches. It is lush, but nightlife is non existent.
Bermuda is lush and beautiful and has nice beaches. There is some nightlife, cute town, nice resorts, very safe, romantic.

You may want to check out St.Kitts/Nevis. I have not been, but have read nice things about it here. Nevis seems to be favored.
I don't know anything about Grenada. St. Lucia has some nice resorts and some very nice scenery. I hear the beaches are mediocre.

Sorry didn't read the all inclusive part. All inclusive is not as common outside of Mexico and Jamaica. St.Lucia does have the Windjammer and also there is one on Tortola in the British VIslands called Long Bay or Long Beach something...? Can't remember. Bermuda only has one all inclusive and it is Grotto Bay. Not heard fantastic things about this place. It would have more families I would think. There are many breakfast and dinner included options on Bermuda.
I have had friends who went to an all inclusive in Playa del carmen and loved it. It was an Iberostar resort. She said the food was good, the rooms were very nice and clean and the price was very reasonable. I would check into them. I think she was at the Maya, but also had access to the Linda resort.

Mexico is the capital of all inclusive resorts but forget lush, tropical and beautiful except as created by and within the resorts.

I would avoid AI resorts that are family friendly personally as the ambiance is very different from adult only.

Sorry you are not open to Jamaica as that ticks all the boxes and Negril especially is wonderful.

St. Lucia also has three Sandals resorts. However, as previously stated, the meavhes in St. Lucia are not big and buartiful.
I guess you have your reasons for ruling out Jamaica, but it doesn have all of the things you say you want.

That should be the MEACHES on St. Lucia are NOT big and beautiful.
