Cigarette Prices- Are they cheaper then US

Cigarette Prices- Are they cheaper then US

Has anyone been to Jamaica the last month or so, are US Cigarette cheper there then here?

Most US brands aren't widely/at all available on island;the US duty=frees before you leave Stateside are your best option/prices. Craven A, Rothman,Matterhorn/menthol,Benson & Hedges Gold box and Players -- all UK made for the Caribbean -- are the brands,and they're harsh. 2 cartons per person are allowed on entry/bring yours.
A pak of US brand is always appreciated by islanders who smoke...

Hi, I was in Negril, Jamaica (Couples Resort), less than a month ago and the gift shop sold cigarettes such as Marlboro, Marlboro Lights, Newports, and a few other larger brands (guess it depends where you go and stay). I believe they were about $4.00 US.

$4...cheaper than NYC but more $ than Ohio. In the US cigarette prices totally depend on where you live...
