Christmas with 2 teens St Kitts?, Grand Cayman or T&C

Heading to the Carib for some sun on the 26th. We have 2 older teens (16/18) so we would prefer a place with great beach, great pool and restaurants on or near property. We were thinking Marriott St Kitts or Cayman. Travel agent mentioned the Regent Hotels on T&C. We don't want to be overrun with kids as our two also just want some sun and snorkel time. Our dream vacation is BVI but we are on a budget of about 9k for this trip. Any thoughts?

Are you locked in to a Marriott because you are using points If not, do think about a condo in Cayman.

Carnival runs over Christmas into New Year on St. Kitts & Nevis. This might draw you to these islands or not...

Hears a blog from last years carnival

Oops, I meant 'here's' rather than 'hears' but if you do go then you'll definitely hear it!

i'm not using points, but having been there I at least know what I am getting. The other one i'm considering is Regent Palm on T & C...

We have stayed at St Kitts Marriott ( free trip with credit card points) nice, it was brand new but, Regent Palms ( T&C) is much better, stayed there once now like The Somerset ( www.thesomerset.com ) , next door. T & C is much nicer island , better beach, water, food etc.
