Charter from Aruba to Venezuela?
Has anyone staying in Aruba taken a charter flight for a day or two to Caracas, Venezuela and if so , was it worth it?

I wouldn't necessarily consider Caracas for a charter from Aruba. If I were you I would choose other venezuelan destinations like Canaima (awesome rainforest and Angel Falls) or maybe Los Roques (paradise on earth..great snorkeling)
I live in Caracas and travel to Aruba every year but I've never heard of a charter flight to Caracas. You can take a round trip flight (30 minutes) to Caracas and from the Caracas Airport move on to Canaima, Los Roques or any other place in Venezuela. I wouldn't consider a tour to Margarita Island. Once you've seen the beaches in Aruba you'll be dissapointed with Margarita's. On the other hand, Los Roques' beaches are something that doesn't exist in Aruba.
If you need more info..let me know on this post.
Gracie

I highly recommend taking the day trip to curacoa. Did this a few years ago and had a really nice time. It is different enough from aruba to be fun.

I think DePalm tours used to have a day trip to Venezuela, but it may have been dicontinued due to saftey concerns. Even before the current political unrest in the country it was not considered the safest of trips, but now it is even more so.

I'm going to be in Aruba in late September but I wouldn't wanna miss Canaima National Park in Venezuela. unfortunately, I haven't been able to find something suitable on the Internet. It seems that the flight table from Aruba to Venezuela is very poor. any ideas? (it will be a shame to miss Angel Falls)
