Caymans end of Aug

We are thinking of planning a 4 or 5 night trip to GC around labor day. I've only been there in Feb., so I"m clueless as to what to expect weather wise or if it's a big jellyfish time.

Rates are pretty low and there's many specials. Can anyone give me an idea of what to expect.

Weather will be nice in August. It will feel a bit more humid and warmer - but it cetainly isn't that hot to avoid a trip...

Have fun!

Meta,

Cayman in August is a lot different from Cayman in february, weather wise.

The sea and swimming pools will be like a warm bath, and temperature in the low 90s, with humidity high.

For folk from the Southern states, it will seem cool :)

Key thing in the summer is whether or not there is a breeze, so choose your resort wisely ;)

Tom, is that a hint since your resort tends to have a bit more wind. Actually, that's a good selling point.

We still haven't made a decision as to whether or not we're going to GC. It may be too hot and hunmid for us. (must be the New England in me)

Oh, and no jellyfish problems in August.. to be honest we only have "sea itch" (thimble jellyfish larvae) around the change of season in May... can bother some people, but others it does not trouble (depends on sensitivity).

meta... New England in August...hmm.. I was up there two years ago and it was almost as hot as Cayman.. without the breeze :)
