Carribean Resort AI

We'd like to book a 10 day stay at an all inclusive resort on one of the carribean islands. Since we've never been, let me lay out our criteria. We love the beach/pool areas, adult resort would be nice, no high rise, luxury and not too large of a resort. A honeymoon retreat would suit us just fine. Any suggestions for the confused? Thanks

Have you considered Royal Hideaway in Playa del Carmen Mexico? It is a small low-rise adults only property. The resort is absolutely fabulous. Hands down the best service I've ever experienced.

Try any of the Sandals resorts.

I loved couples negril and grand lido braco. Couples had a better beach and I also liked the rooms better. GLB has an extensive au natural area that people really love if you're into that.

There's a secrets capri in mexico that I've heard a lot of good things about, it's on my short list.

Peace, Greenie

I totally agree with you about Sandal's although they almost always get bad reviews. We are leaving the end of this month for our third stay at Sandal's. It is not a perfect place, but very nice by our standards. We always found the staff to be very accomadating. I would be interested to hear about which ones you went to. We stayed at Negril (six years ago) so no comment as to what it is like now, and The Regency in STL(2003) which we are returning to this year.
