I do know that Orient Beach is St. Martin (french side) has clothing optional beaches. We were at the Esmeralda resort last July and they have a whole section for nude sunbathing. Most, if not all, hotels on that beach are clothing optional. The Esmeralda and its sister resort, Alamanda, were not seedy....very clean and all adult behavior was observed.

Caribbean, one r two b's :)

Saline at either extremity or Gouverneur on the far right on St Barts.

Do swingers resorts really exist? (excuse my naivity) I would imagine a whole bunch of guys chasing very few women.

That's "naivety" since we must always spell correctly here. :)

Cayo Largo, Cuba has a "naturist" beach on Playa Lindamar at the south-west end of the island. Very popular location with the bare-it-all set and also very secluded on a quiet laid-back island.

The preferred spelling (according to Webster's) is actually "naivete." :)

But, "naivety" is also listed as and described as "chiefly Brit."

(Brought to you by our For What It's Worth Dept.)

Now, in addition to the aforementioned French islands and Cuba, there is Tulum on the Caribbean coast of Mexico, south of Cancun, and a variety of clothing optional (co) resorts and their beaches sprinkled throughout the Caribbean.

There are also many unoffically nude and topless beaches if you are so inclined, but care needs to be taken as nudity (and toplessness) is illegal on most Caribbean islands, and the residents normally find it offensive as well.

As far as swinger resorts go, the Hedonism chain is known for that, and I am sure there are others known for this activity. It's not something we have an interest in doing, but out of curiosity, I once got on a travel forum that had a chat board for that type of resort and was pretty amazed at what goes on publicly at those places. Whoa. :O

Whatever floats your boat, I suppose...

And I can find no such word as "naivity." ;)

I stand corrected "Naivety" it is as in the Oxford English Dictionary. (I'm English)

The spelling of Caribbean thing came from a hilarious article in an English newspaper starting with something like:

"The person at the Caribbean Tourist Board was very helpful.

"One R two B's" she informed me."
