Blamona: I just realized I never answered your camera question. Sorry! We have a Nikon Coolpix but the model is one they don't make anymore. We love it. When it dies, we'll stay with the brand. Really nice, compact, easy to use digital camera.

thank you for posting such a detailed and enthusiastic trip report. i could really tell what a great time you had. the pictures are wonderful. my favorites are the 2 with rocky cliff and palm trees. isn't the water color of chalk sound fantastic?! i'm so glad you had a good time. you'll have to go back to snorkel smiths.
we had dinner at anacona one night and went to hang out on those oh so white cushions afterwards. they were soaked from swimmers sitting on them. not nice in a dress but makes me think they must dry well overnight...
