Caribbean Weddings
What are the best Caribbean Islands to have a wedding?
|
We got married in a villa in St. Lucia. It was incredibly romantic and private...not feeling like you are taking a number and waiting your turn like we saw at some hotels. It was really magic!

What the above poster is referring to as is very much consistent with a hotel/all-inclusive wedding where the approach can be very assembly-line. Plus who wants a bunch of gawkers in swimsuits while you're exchanging wedding vows. On the more exclusive end of the spectrum in Jamaica you've got the Tryall Club and Round Hill. Of the two Tryall's more spread out and the villas are more secledud, many with large gardens which could afford the ultimate in privacy for a wedding. I think this would be a dream place for a destination wedding. www.tryallclub.com, www.roundhilljamaica.com

Exactly! We stayed and got married at Villa La Paloma www.lapalomavilla.com...So peaceful, it's own private property, I hear Jamaica has some great places too. We had our own cook every day. They did a beutiful job of catering for the wedding party. We were married on the sea cliff looking at Martinique...awesome...

We were married at the Grand Lido in Negril, Jamaica on the yacht that they own - once belonged to Princess Grace and Prince Rainer. It was very private - no on-lookers!

The resort is very luxurious and pampering. They took care of every detail regarding the wedding - very pleased!!
