Caribbean in the Summer

I am looking to take a quiet trip to an Island at the end of July. I have been to a few places but always in February. So is it too hot in the summer? Any recommendations on where to stay with a climate like Hawaii? . The island also must have a luxury hotel. Thanks!

buffs...I can only recommend Hawaii..it does not have the humidity that the Caribbean can have.More specially Kauai if you have never been there. It is my favorite little paradise so far.It is not as developed as Maui or Oahu and so so beautiful. For accommaditions try :www.rosewoodkauai.com. Good luck we saw tons of ((R)) 's while in Kauai.:)

For luxury in Kauai the Princeville Resort is great.

St John was beautiful..just got back but it was very hot and humid.Next time I go will be during winter here.

Aruba has the constant tradewinds so it might be a consideration for you.GL

The tradewinds are pretty reliable on Barbados. Wonderful island--lots to see and do, great restaurants, nitelife, lovely people, very upscale for the region. Coral Reef Club is the class act--low-rise plantation style, family owned for 05 years.
