Caribbean ferries
 

Can anyone tell me if there is a ferry from barbados to saint lucia. I am planning on spending 2 weeks in the Caribbean in february and would like to travel to at least 2 islands without flying in between.

Barbados and St Lucia are 100+miles apart. No ferries, sorry. You can go by ferry from St Lucia to Martinique or Dominica.

There is a catamaran service from St Lucia to the French islands and Dominica but there are no ferries from Barbados. There have been several plans for ferries but it does not seem that any materialised. Not sure the distance is an issue, as there are ferry journeys in the world that are much longer than 100+ miles.

Odin: Usually the areas with long ferry rides are more populated,so they can build bigger boats.

My suggestion is simply to take LIAT as they have several flights between the two islands.
