Caribbean Beaches with waves - any ideas?

We're planning a trip to the caribbean (in Dec.) and are looking for beaches that have more waves than a bathtub. Any suggestions?

Get somewhere on the Atlantic side of the islands. The Caribbean is a very calm sea, except when there is a hurricane! :-) When we were on Antigua, we enjoyed the surf on the Atlantic side of the island, compared to the tranquility on the Caribbean side, and our guide said it is that different on most islands.

The south coast of Barbados has great waves, good for Boogie Boarding. Also, Orient Beach in St. Martin was nice and wavy as well.

Margarita Island has some terrific winds and waves. It is sail board HEAVEN. Less expensive than a lot of other islands

Rincon, Puerto Rico.

This one is easy, try the Condado section of San Juan. Bring the boogy board. All over the western section of Puerto Rico is surf country, around Isabela and Rincon, You'll find a lot of Yankee surfers that come here regularly to surf and play.
