Cap Juluca Questions
I am seriously thinking of Cap Juluca for a honeymoon and am getting a bit concerned with all I have read about the meals in Anguilla costing a lot of money. We really like the resort, but are concerned that once we get there we will be hit with really high meal bills also. ANy advice? How does the spa compare to those at Mallihouana or Cusinart? Can you visit the spa if you are not a guest at Cap Juluca? Oh, and lastly, can anyone please confirm that Cap Juluca doesn't have TVs in the rooms???

I forgot to say thanks for all of the input so far!!!

CJ will place a TV in your room for $20 USD per day. (Reception is not always good).
The spa at Malliouhana is the best on the island. The food on Anguilla is expensive at all the resorts. You can eat more cheaply at the smaller independent restaurants like Tasty's and E's Oven. For details (menus and prices at many places) go to http.//menus.ai |
The best way to save money (and have more fun) is to rent a car during your stay as cab fares will cost you more than the price of a daily car rental rate. If you are staying at Cap, they will arrange this for you and will have the car delivered to you.

Cap Juluca has spa services that come to your room, a nice complete menu. TV's are not in the rooms, even if you get one not all rooms are hooked up to receive cable. Yes, you can book time at Malliouhana or Cusinart's spa. Renting a car makes the trip more fun. Its an easy island to explore, and fine great places to eat!
