My wife and I are planning to go to ther carribean and specifically Anguilla in late September. We got a brochure from Cap and it looks awesome. Does anyone know if we a re crazy to go there at the end of Sep. with hurricane season in full swing?

You may get hit you may not. You never know, but Cap Juluca does look nice. We are booked there for our November honeymoon so would you please post a message once you return about Cap?

Also check out www.traveltalk.com and go to Caribe talk, then do a search on Anguilla (you may need to look back a few months. That's how they organize it). There are some good discussions about Cap and it seems people keep going back so they may know about weather also.

Cap Juluca is breathtaking. Everything in the brochure is true. We were married on the beach there in front of our room. The best feature is the low key atmosphere. No beer drinking contests at this hotel thank goodness. Very romantic-breakfast on our balcony every morning. The absolute best beach under the sun. You will wake up and think you have just landed in paradise with a great menu to boot. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did- (and don't tell too many people!)
My wife and I have been going back to Cap Juluca for 5 years now in April and August and have never been disappointed. Absolute paradise. They also have a web site at www.capjuluca.com.

Sounds great! Thanks for the post. We are headed there for our honeymoon in late Nov.

And, please, be sure to post a "report" for all of us who will be following you. Leave a little sun, a little fun and lots of "spirts" behind for the rest of us. Have a wonderful trip!!!

Has anyone been to Cap recently? We are still considering it for our honeymoon, but keep hearing conflicting things.
