caneel bay- pool?
 

can anyone describe the pool at caneel bay? is it nice, close to ocean? my teenagers prefer freshwater pools, and i want the beach! will we all be happy? thanks, cathy

Cathy I've visited Caneel a number of times just looking around, as I've stayed nearby, and can't remember seeing a pool.What with the awesome beaches they have (7),I can't beleive anyone would want to use a pool.They have a web sight at" www.caneelbay.com " you might want to go there and check it out and drop them an E mail with your questions.Hope I've been some help !!

Over the years Caneel Bay did not have a pool but I have heard that they put one in or planned to. Why don't you call Rosewood Hotels at 1-888-767-3966 and ask them about the pool and where it is located if it exists? Otherwise, isn't it time for your teenagers to learn to snorkel or dive, otherwise they will soon be behind the rest of the world?

There is a pool at Caneel Bay and 7 beaches so all will be satisfied.

The pool at Caneel is tucked up on a hill near the tennis courts. It's real nice - but I never saw anyone using it. The beaches are so great that they attract everyone. The pool is about a 5 - 10 minute walk from the main beach, or just 2 minutes in the electric carts that transport guests around the property. Your teenagers will love the fact that you cannot see the pool from the beach and vice - versa. However, I really would be surprised that they will pick the pool over the beaches there. Have a great time - Caneel Bay is a fantastic place. You will all be happy and spoiled!!

Hi there! We just came back from Caneel Bay - our room was pretty close to the pool. We never saw anyone in the pool. It is a midsize pool - nothing fancy, but it's there(not close to the water). The beaches are EXCELLENT and beautiful... are you sure your kids won't like the soft white powder sand and refreshing turquoise water?
