Cancun-Topless beaches

I heard that the Blue Bay Village has a topless beach is this true. I am staying at the Blue Bay Club and Marina. Any feedback on it would be greatl. Also is it safe to travel at night in cancun?

The last time we were in Cancun, it was topless everywhere. Our daughter just came back in April and said that they have banned topless and there are signs warning you not to do it.

Was at Blue Bay Village in April - NO official topless beach there or anywhere in Mexico. Rarely find public nudity allowed in Spanish speaking countries. During my last stay however, 1 woman kept taking her bikini top off at the pool, and no one stopped her, altho she was the ONLY one doing it. If you want approved topless areas, stick to French speaking islands (Martinique, St Martin, etc) or the Negril coast in Jamaica (no other areas in Jamaica). It is generally frowned upon on English and Dutch heritage islands too.

There was a lot of topless on Bonaire, some on Aruba and topless as well as nudity in Curacao. All Dutch islands. British islands are the ones who frown upon toplessness.
