Why do we care? Because some people come here to obtain information to help them decide on and plan vacations. Some of those vacations are expensive. Getting "bad" information can lead to bad decisions and wasted money. If you can't trust the information here, then the website is utterly useless. Credibility is thus very important. Yes, it's an anonymous board and there are some nutty people who post here, but usually it's easy to spot the wackos and ignore their posts. When people pretend to be posting credible info but in fact are not trustworthy sources of info, they need to be exposed so people can ignore them. That's why it matters.
