BVI charters -St Thomas

We were looking to do a day charter from St Thomas and I heard good things about New Horizons II charter and Limnos? Anyone have suggestion on which is better.

We had a great time on NHII. Have not done limnos, but we had a ball on NH. A lot in one day - from St. Thomas to St. John if necc, then fast to the baths on Virgin Gorda, (with commentary and punch drinks in sippy cups), then off to lunch (buy your own), then to a snorkel stop, then to White Bay on JVD. Excellent day. I don't remember exactly, but I think a group of about 20 or 30. CRS disease.

Was the speadboat comfortable?

What do you mean comfortable? The first leg of the trip is somewhat long and perhaps a little rough (sippy cups), but I thought the boat was comfortable. I don't remember it being uncomfortable for what that is worth.

We did New Horizons II a few years back and thought it was a great day for first timers. Nice overview of The BVI's. That boat holds 18. Not sure about Limnos. If there are more than two of you to share the cost (or if you just want to splurge a little for a fantastic day), I VERY highly recommend Captain Brandi of Palm Tree Charters. He is da best! He video tapes your day for you too.

It really just depends on the seas as to how comfortable you will be. The back of the boat will be less bumpy. Virgin Gorda is a pretty good distance up The Sir Frances Drake Channel. Last trip, we had awesome flat seas one day and not so flat the next boat day.

can you tell us what the cost is? Thanks

Here is the link for info on NHII including the cost.

The price for Palm Tree Charters is in the link above. Having done both, if it fits in your budget, hands down go for your own boat and Captain. It's so worth it.
