Breezes, Montego Bay

Looking for opinions on this propery. Have friends getting married there in 7/04 and we are thinking of going for 5-days, getting a price quote of $850 p/p AI, w/Air from BOS. Seems like a O.K deal.

The property does not stand out to me, and I realize that it is not 5-star, but just want to make sure it is clean & decent - and not a 100% disappointment.

Any comments would be great.

I wasn't impressed by it at all. If you are looking to stay close to Mobay, I would suggest Sunset Beach instead. Much nicer but should be in the same price range.

For location it's the best. You're right in the middle of the "Hip Strip" or tourist area and everything is walkable. You're also right on the beach practically.
I doubt it'll be a complete disappointment. It's clean and there are a lot of entertainment options.
As long as you recognise that it's not the most attractive of the all inclusives and as long as you understand that you're not getting a five star then you'll be o.k.
;-)

Thank you both.
JAGIRL, I think I was looking for excatly what you were saying. I am going in not expecting it to be the best, but to hear a couple of postitives is always good.

Again, it is for a wedding, for a friend of ours, and there is a large group going to stay there -- all in the age of late 20's to early 30's -- so I am sure it is going to be a great time, but was just really hoping it was clean and on a beach. And the Hip Strip, sounds like what we might be looking for.

Again, Many Thanks!!

There are a lot of "off property" happenings on the Strip...Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville and the Coral Cliff Gaming Lounge come to mind. A number of restaurants are located on the strip as well. One of my favourites is "Tapas" on Corniche Road which is road right on the strip. The Pelican and the Native are also two restaurants which serve up local dishes. If you like small on the road type places I'd also recommend "Patsy's" which is right on the strip across from the Aqua Sol water park. The beach the hotel is affiliated with (located on) is called "The Doctor's Cave Beach.
Hope you enjoy it! ;-)
