Hi Jill,

I just came back from a week atBreezes Bahamas last month and I'd say judging by what you wrote,Breezes would satisfy everything on your list. The minimum age for Breezes is 16. Minimum drinking age is 18 but I can't say it was strictly enforced.

You could chill -- there are plenty of chaise lounges by the pool and beach. There are pool tables, ping pong, fooseball, and other indoor activities.

They have some watersports included and others (jtskiing and parasailing) are provided at a fee by non-Breezes vendors. The vendors are on the beach right near the resort.

If your son is into many sports, he should love it there. They have 6-on-6 beach volleyball everyday. They have pool basketball and pool volleyball. They have flying trapeze lessons (not a sport, but at least another activity). There is a basketball court, and they also have tennis lessons.

There is gambling at the Marriot which is within walking distance. Or you can take a cab ride (approx. $20-25 each way) to the Atlantis.

As for food, I think this was one of Breezes strong points. The daily buffet selection was appetizing and with much to choose from. A reservation will get you a seat at the Pastafari restaurant and our food was excellent. Didn't run into anyone that had any complaints about the food or the restaurant.

Hope this helps,

Eric
