going to breezes bahamas in a couple of weeks looking for some info from someone who has been there

I have been there several times and love it. Not fancy, just fun and relaxing. Great beach area, walk to the casino a couple hotels down at the Marriott/Radisson. Be sure to make reservations at the Italian Rest. as soon as you get there. Make it for a couple nights that you are there, very good anti-pasta bar and the staff is wonderful. Also try the crab salad at the beach grill in the afternoon, I love it. Nothing is better on the beach with cool drink. Get a sail boat or try the rock climbing wall, sign up early for that too. Long list when we were there. Enjoy your trip!

Do you know how far Sandals is?

Sandals is about 15minutes away. I have also stayed there. Couple only very nice but much more formal and elegant. Lots of restaurants, wonder food. The beach right in front of the resort is very small. If you take their launch over to the island the beach is wonderful. There is also a pool and bar/snack bar over on the island. Breezes and Sandals are both very nice but also very different types of vacation. Breezes casual laid back nothing fancy. Sandals, upscale relaxing. <BR>Which one? Is this a honeymoon or just a get away?

Hi, Sorry for the confusion, we have friends staying at Sandals and have a day pass to visit them. We were wondering if it is walking distance or was that 15 minutes by car?
