Bottom fishing

hello all
my wife and i will be spending our honeymoon at sandals regency (jan 29-feb 5)
has anyone tried the bottom fishing? we cant find any information about it as sandals doesnt offer it... we found a sight, and cant find it again... i think i would prefer this to deep sea fishing, watching a downrigger....
thank you all

What kind of bottoms are you looking to catch?

haha
i wasnt specific
i was referring to still fishing
i think you are able to hold the rods in your hands, and cast off the edge of the boat
i dont know which species of fish are available, but any kind of colourful finding nemo fish would be great... i live in the great lakes region, and don't get the oppurtunity to fish in the ocean very often
i tried deep sea fishing in cuba already, and aside from the delicious lobster lunch, and ice cold beer, i found watching the downriggers quite boring (and we didnt catch anything)
thank you

When you arrive, the local tourist magazine will have lots of info on who offers what and Sandals should have a rep that will help organise.
For future reference, the Cayman Islands, Turks & Caicos Islands and Aruba are big on bottom fishing.
Have fun.

Ever considered fly-fishing for the "Grey Ghost"? That's nickname for a great fighting fish, the Bonefish. Many guides throughout Caribbean. Robert59
