Bolongo Bay
I continue to hear about the food & fun at Iggie's at the Bolongo Bay Resort. Is the main restaurant, The Beach House, equally as good? Money is not a big issue since we enjoy beautiful & gourmet cuisine.

YOOHOO!
Anyone know anything here? Also, I am not hearing many reports about the resort lately. They have to be kidding! I know people who have stayed there report that it's fun and very relaxing. We plan to be there for Super Bowl Sunday...to watch the Eagles win! Anyone else? |
We stayed at Bolongo Bay in February of 2002. At that time it was in need of a complete renovation. Don't know if it has had one once or not. It is an old property. We ate at the Beach House a few times and had good meals. Iggie's is more casual with light meals. Ate there once. When we were there it was a local hangout and a lot of nights they had loud blaring music you could hear a mile away. Neither would be considered gourmet. The Beach House has a nice setting looking out over the Bay.

Hi,
The Beach House is a nice restaurant......not necessarily what I would consider to be a "gourmet" place though. There are other choices in CA, frenchtown and on the north side that would better be described as "gourmet" type places. Schultz |
