blu vs marshalls

I am going to ST. Kitts to celebrate my mom's 50th birthday. I made reservations at both Blu (we're staying at the Marriott) and Marshalls. I have not read any reviews on Blu but have seen mixed reviews for Marshalls, ranging from do not miss to not worth the expensive prices. We both love seafood. Can anyone please help me decide between the two or if there are any other suggestions? Much thanks!

Marshalls is much better, unless you don't want to leave the Marriott (take a taxi to Marshalls).

Ottley's would be another choice if you wanted to venture further afield. Beautiful plantation inn, lovely grounds.

We did not eat at Blu but I heard mixed reviews on it while we were there. Personally, we loved Marshalls and will return next week. The atmoshpere is beautiful, the food was excellent and the service was outstanding. In my opinion, the dinner that we had at the Marriott (La Cocina, I think) was average with the service being the same. Lunches there were ok. Dinner at Marshalls is poolside and quaint. Good luck!

I second the suggestion about Ottley's. Very special restaurant in a wonderful setting.
It's much nicer than either Marshall's (nice enough but not memorable) or Blu (typical fancy hotel place).
Sprat Net is also great.

Thank you for the suggestions. I have decided to go with Marshall's. Thanks again!!
