Biras Creek or Little Dix?
We have been to Little Dix and we did have a wonderful time. This forum made me look at Biras. I understand they now have rooms on the beach. I have read scubamoms comments and it looks great. Any comments, anyone stay beachside, etc. would be appreciated. Thanks!

They do have rooms on a beach ... however, it is not the swimming beach! The swimming beach is accessable by a bike ride of about three-quarters of a mile. If you look at the site, it shows, I think, the map of the property and the three bodies of water at Biras.

Hi Karen,Thanks you are a real expert. I had read your comments and I know you love beaches. So,since I love the beach at my doorstep, this might not be the place,We did enjoy Little Dix,we did not have a children problem and we did enjoy the ferry to Caneel. Little Dix had lots and lots of Honeymooners, not really a problem, but I wanted a better mix.Last December(mid)Caneel was very busy-everyone who could not go to Little Dix went to Caneel. Thanks,I will continue to think it over-I wanted to split our time, maybe we will do Dix again,or only Caneel.

how about beach front at Peter Island ... or even better, Guana Island? Certainly not an "expert" <blush, blush> but darn lucky to have been going to the BVI for many years and experienced the good, the bad and the not-so-good. Just hate to see anyone disappointed ... been there, done that ... and don't like it!!!

We stayed at Biras last year and loved it. We drank coffee in the morning on our patio overlooking the rugged beach and enjoyed riding bikes to the swimming beach or marina where you can take out small motor boats (boats and bikes included). We actually enjoyed the bike rides. The swimming beach is absolutely beautiful and extremely secluded - there are only about 62 guests in the whole resort at a time. We also enjoyed exploring the small islands that are easily accessible and finding completely secluded beaches.
