Biking on Eleuthera Island, Bahamas

Biking on Eluthera is not dangerous (there are no bike paths, however). Eleuthera is a big island--110 miles long--so if you hope to get out and explore, your best bet might be to rent a car. Cecil Cooper car rentals, for example, charges $60 per day for an air-conditioned car (tel. 809/332-1575). If you are planning to stay on Harbour Island which is just off the western tip of Eleuthera, it would be advisable to rent a bike. Harbour Island is only three miles long. Have a great vacation and be sure to spread the word about our site!
