Best weather/where to travel early November?!
 

Hello all! My SO and I are looking to travel to the Caribbean in early-mid November 2017. We are in our late 20s. We realize that the weather is generally better earlier in the year, but we don't want to wait that long (if we can find a good destination!) we would like as sunny/dry/warm as possible. We like adults only resorts and like to split our time between being adventrous and laying on the beach. A good beach is very important to me. SO would like a nice resort with good food options. We are not necessarily on a budget, but don't want to break the bank either. I realize this is a very vague list of demands, but we are open to any suggestions!

Sorry, but both of those sentences will result in very vague responses. If you scroll through some of the past threads on this forum you'll find the ones that get the most responses are those where the OP has given lots more details about their desires and budget. The threads that are vague like yours don't get much help.

We have no idea how strong your bank is and how much will "break it". For some people $200/night is too much, others have no difficulty paying $2,000/night while still others can pay even more without "breaking their bank". Where in that range do you fall????

Also, no one can guarantee "weather" during anytime of the year anywhere in the Caribbean. Average temperatures don't vary more than a few degrees F. between the northern most and southern most Caribbean islands so "warmth" is not a major concern when selecting your destination.

While some islands are more arid than others there's no guarantee an "arid" island will be rain free the week or so that you are visiting. Similarly, the more "wetter' islands might be rain free the week you visit. Also, lusher islands often get rain up in the rain forests (hence the name) by are dry and sunny down at the beaches and/or have very brief widely scatter showers lasting minutes rather than hours. It's not unusual for it to sprinkle in one area and be bright and sunny 1/4 mile away. Unless there is a major storm these showers rarely have a negative affect on one's vacation.

So, really, in order to make any meaningful recommendations we need to know:

What is your budget for accommodations, airfare, food and activities? it would help if you could brea that budget down by category.

Where are you flying from? The answer will have an impact on how much of your budget you need for airfare.

Are you looking for an All inclusive Resort or would you rather "dine around"?

Define what you mean by "good food"? Are you true "foodies" seeking exceptional fine dining or by "good" do you mean plentiful buffets or something else?

The more specifics you can give us, the easier it will be to steer you in the right direction.

Early to mid-November can be very rainy, as it is the end of hurricane season. Usually weather is better (drier) the end of November.
