best way to get the cheapest AI deal
Hey can anyone give advice on the best way to get a cheap AI deal? I want to go with my wife and am trying to find out how to visit these places that look like paradise...without paying out the nose for them. thanks!

The cheaper destinations are DR, Cancun and Jamaica all of which have many all inclusives. This is now high season and prices will drop after Easter.

You will also want to check with a travel agent and get a package deal via Apple Vacations, Funjet, etc. - whatever your area offers. Package deals, as far as I know, can only be purchased through travel agents but it's a great way to save money.

Depending on where you live Vacation Outlet has their travel show in Boston this weekend and the prices will be deeply discounted for everything...and yes, the D.R. is a great bargain for your $$. Except for school vacation week you should be able to get a buy.

You may want to give a look at applevacations.com. There were some reasonable deals to Punta Cana, in the month of Jan. Also PDC. Most of these are charter flights which reduce costs also. Depends on also on your departure city.

There are some great specials going on right now to some resorts in the Caribbean depending on when and where you want to go. Not all of the resorts cost and arm and a leg.

Some of the most economical resort destinations are Punta Cana and the Mayan
Riviera (40 miles south of Cancun). These are two of the up and coming
locations offering the best bang for your buck. They offer beautiful resorts
set on very large beaches, offering lots of dining options.
