Best water sports

We have been to Hawaii and St Lucia. Am looking for a beach that has the best water sports and entertainment, possibly AI. We have an 9yr old son loves the water and a 18 yr old daughter that loves the entertainment. Barbados? Punta? Loved the AI in St Lucia Loved the waterfalls in Hawaii.Going in June2012, So many options out there dont know where to look. leaving from Phx Az Nothing too laid back but also not extremely crowded.

take a look at the ai's near playa del carmen south of cancun. good beaches for your son & some of the ai's (riu or iberostar?) have clubs for those 18-21 plus tons of activities.
has ziplines, all water sports including good snorkeling, duty free shopping in playa, atv jungle rides, tours of mayan ruins & 2 fabulous eco water parks xel-ha.com & xcaret.com does not have waterfalls, but does have cenotes.
look at locogringo.com for lots of info on everything you need to know to visit this area.

Barbados offers great beaches and some fun water sports. Along the St. Lawrence Gap area on the south coast of Barbados, you'll benefit from both entertainment on evenings and at night and beautiful beaches with plenty of water sports rides and activities. Especially on Dover beach. The water on the South is not as calm as the west coast though it is also suited for swimming. On the West coast around the Holetown area there is night life , nice bars and restaurants ranging from high end to casual affordable beach front bars and there is some water sports activity.

Barbados does not offer many options for true AI accommodation though. All in all it is a nice island to vacation and it has lots to do depending on your interests in tours, land ; sea etc. In June you would be able to find accommodation at more affordable prices as it is the out of season period for tourists.

Hope this helps somewhat
