Church Bay usually has decent snorkeling. Also the little cove just west of Fort St. Catherine. There's a snorkel park at the Dockyard but didn't try it. The best we did was a 1/2 day snorkel trip, but can't remember the operator.

One of our trips to Bermuda was in October. The weather was perfect. Water on the chilly side but swimmable.

There are lots of places to snorkle in Bermuda my favorite is just past the beach in tobacco bay on the other side of st. george's. Go down by the dock and slide in the water the best is out by the rock formations. The reef out in church's bay is another spot but if you go there beware the undertow, most people have no problem. These are the two best on the island. Any questions feel free to e-mail we have been over there at least a dozen times and love everytime like the first.

Early to mid October the weather is warm, and the water in the high 70's. we usually go in september, danced around several hurricanes, and changed our plans once because of a hurricane Floyd at home and Gert in Bermuda. We enjoyed October so much we are going again this year!
