best snorkeling in Bermuda
I will be on a cruise to Bermuda in October and like to snorkel. I would appreciate information on the best snorkeling sites.

There are a few trips that you can get out of Hamilton, one is six miles off the coast, it was great!! And I wish I could remember the boat. But I do not know of any snorkeling right off the shore that is really good. Maybe someone else has a better idea. Just <BR>check in Hamilton or at your hotel.

Sorry Dennis I mean check on the cruise ship.

Churches Bay, but the water may be a bit chilly in October.

We did a great trip from the Pompano Beach CLub on the Chelonia catamaran...don't know how to get in touch with them though, it was set up through the resort. Call Pompano and maybe they can help.

Granted this was 5 yrs ago, but the best snorkeling we experienced is at a little beach called Tobacco Bay, north shore,St Georges. Rent a moped and go in your shorts and bathing suit. It cost us $7 each to rent the equipment and that was all day. No need to get on a boat - just walk into the water from the beach to the coves of rocks. You will see some spectacular fish and save alot a money in the meanwhile. They also serve lunch - hamburgers, etc - very reasonable. This you will not regret!!!!
