Best Snorkeling??

We are cruising Jan 5 from Puerto Rico to St.Thomas, Antigua, St Marteen, St.Lucia and Barbados and want suggestions for best ports for snorkeling. (We are usually divers, but not this trip!) Suggestions??

When you stop in ST. Thomas, you can take the ferry over to St. John for some good snorkeling at Trunk Bay.
We took the ship's land/sea tour on St. Lucia and loved it. The other island all have beautiful beaches.

Thanks, Gail. We hve that St Lucia tour as #1 on our list to do. Will my 20 & 18 year old college girls survive the day -- (they are good travelers and divers as well. Any comment on snorkeling Buck Island, St Croix?

Diana,
Snorkeling at Buck Island is great! But it may be tough to squeeze it in in the time available to you through a cruise stop. It's an easy sail to Buck Island from St. Croix, not sure how long a sail it is from St. Thomas.
St. John would be more accessible from St. Thomas and there is fabulous snorkeling there as well.

Thanks, Shari. In case anyone else wants to know, I'm told it's only a 31/2 hour excursion so it can't be too far! Still debating Buck Is. vs St John...
