Best resort food?
If consistently good food was the *only* factor in your choice, which caribbean resort would you pick for a one-week stay? I don't necessarily require gourmet--just great taste, and the restaurant(s) must be on-site at the resort. Your votes?

I would look into any of the Relais and Chateaux properties in the Caribbean which are renowned for their high-quality cuisine (e.g. Biras Creek, Horned Dorset Primavera, I also think there are a couple on St. Barths.

Atlantis, Paradise Island, Bahamas.
No question about it.
The variety of food there is astounding....everything from bad to worse.
And the atmosphere?
It's like noplace else.
Think Atlantic City casino meets McDonalds meets Disneyland.

Two all-inclusive resorts come to mind. We vacationed at Sandals Antigua twice and they had very good cuisine--especially liked the Japanese restaurant.
Super Clubs Braco Resort in Runaway Bay Jamaica also has very good restaurants with variety--including a bakery-- and the resort is modeled after a Jamaican Village--we enjoyed everything at the resort and my husband loved stopping at the Jerk Meat Stand late at night for a snack.

Sandcastle Resort, Jost Van Dyke, BVI left us speechless after each meal

Biras Creek had outstanding cuisine in a beautiful setting. We ate every meal there (included in Week of Enchantment) every meal was a delicious surprise, without repeating a single dish. Lobster is on the menu every night and prepared differently. We are not easy to please either. I was so thankful for the bicycles to work off those lovely meals and wine!

Hotel Manapany in St. Barts or anywhere on St. Barts--best cuisine in the Caribbean.
Super Clubs Grand Lido Braco is another great resort with several restaurants to choose from--Japanese, Jamaican, Continental, Bakery etc. The resort is located less than an hour from Montego Bay.
Sandals MoBay and Sandals Antigua bring out the best in food. I would vote both as top places. All the food comes from Jamaica, but is good in both places, as is the pampering from the staff. I indulge big time when I'm there and worry about losing the weight when I get home.

Royal Hideaway in Playa Del Carmen had incredible food. Four restaurants on site (it's an AI) and they were all excellent.
