My husband and I are going to celebrate our 1st year anniversary next March, and we want to go somewhere beautiful, not too expensive (4 days for no more than $3000), romantic and different (ie. not too commonly visited). Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Try The Horned Dorset Primaverra on the west coast of Puerto Rico near Rincon/Agadilla. Luxe,calme et volupte...and a superb destination off the beaten track for a celebration.

You should possibly consider going to Eleuthera in the Bahamas. My fiancee and I recently returned from there and we stayed at The Cove resort. It was great, not too expensive, right on a good snorkeling beach, food was very good and quite reasonable {$45-50 for dinner --without alcohol}., and great secluded, private beaches all over the island.
