Best Lazy Beach Vacation in February

Jump to last reply

So happy to have found this forum, and I hope I can find some answers here.

During the long and stressful years I spent in school, I promised my husband that we would take a vacation to celebrate and unwind when I finished. Well, graduation is here and now it's time to figure out where we will go to celebrate! I get overwhelmed looking at all the options, because I know what I want, but not where to find it.

Here is our wish list for our FEBRUARY trip:

- A warm, sunny beach. Very warm, because we are from the desert and chill easily. Our plan is to spend 7-10 days lying on a beach and playing in the water and doing very little of anything else.

- A beach with small waves. The calmer the water, the better. We want to be able to play in it with our kids.

- Someplace calm and away from the crowds.

- A safe/appropriate place for us to bring our two toddlers. They don't need anything special in terms of kid areas; they like to hang out and play in the water with us. But we are looking for somewhere away from the party crowds, smoking, etc.

- Good food and able to accommodate my gluten-free diet. I can bring food with me if I have to, though.

I would love to hear your ideas. Thanks!
