Excellent snorkeling in Grand Cayman in lots of easily accesible places.

Hubby and I just returned and fell in love with snorkling. It was our first time and we love fish. We have a 150 gallon salt water fish tank at home.
The best variety we've seen is in the British Virgin Islands. Places like the Caves, The Indians, and the Baths are just a few locations. There are so many coves and islands that it seems unlimited. If you want snorkeling from shore, nothing beats Bonaire. There are dozens of easy entry spots for excellent snorkeling. The entire area is Marine Park.

actaully, i have also heard great things about bonaire and diving and snorkling although i have never been there.

The best I've seen so far is Grand Cayman. The shore snorkeling is plentiful, and the amount of fish that are present are excellent. Going to Belize in March, due to excellent diving & snorkeling recomendations. And next year, it's St John as it also seems to be highly recommended for excellent snorkeling.
