Best boat tour on Antigua

We are leaving next week for the Hawksbill in ANTIGUA. Read many posts especially on trip advisor about good sightseeing boat excusions- mostly heard about Eli and Wadali. Is anyone familiar with these tours? We would like to do some snorkelling-my husband is a much stronger swimmer- I tend to be more insecuure and always keep the boat in my sight. Would prefer a tour with a limited number- not interested in loud music and a party atmosphere. More interested in relaxing and sightseeing. Are there any tours some of you have taken that fits our needs. Anxiously waiting for your help

We did Eli's trip in November. I would highly recommend it. Like you, I am not a very confident swimmer but my husband is. The day we went out with Eli, he had two crew members with him. On one of the snorkeling stops, the stronger swimmers(escorted by one of the crew) went over the reef and into the Atlantic side while the rest of us stayed closer to the boat with a crew member. I actually wore a buoyancy belt provided by ELI which made my snorkeling much more enjoyable. I actually used his snorkeling gear which was great. We did see the Wadadli boats - they do the music and seem to be the party boats. They are also bigger boats but they have alot of people on them. Eli limits his numbers. Our trip was very informative, lunch was great, and when everyone is done snorkeling, he served rum punch. Eli's boat is a good size boat and not crowded. If you book on line before you go, he offers a discount.

Thank you both for your replies-Sunnyboy I thought I had all the forums-thanks for giving me a new one to look into-Dinga you sort of put into perspective what I FELT BY LOOKING INTO OTHER FORUMS. Do you know what days the cruise ships come in as we would be better off going when they are not thre- also where did you stay when you visited Antigua- Did you see the Hawksbill and if so what was your impression- We have visited many of the islands and while Anigua does not seem to be as popular as so many others we have been to we thought it would be interesting

We stayed in Antigua Village for two weeks in November. We rented a car for two days and I thought we had seen most of the resorts, but we did not see Hawksbill. I'm not sure if you are familiar with the Antigua and Barbuda Newsgroup website. It is a very active chat and we got great information from it.
