Best Beaches

My boyfriend and I are searching for an island/beach experience where we can elope and have a few days of serene relaxation on the beach. We'd like to stay at a beachfront cottage or villa and aren't terribly concerned with engaging in many tourist activities. Although if there is a place with charming village or small town nearby that would be lovely. Neither of us has been to the Caribbean to we are open to ideas from knowledgeable folks. Many thanks!

Anguilla sounds perfect for you. Awesome beaches and restaurants and very friendly people. Not a lot of touristy things to do but that is what makes it nice.

Kristen is right. Anguilla is the place to go.

Grace Bay Beach in Provo (Turks & Caicos) is the most awesome beach/water I have ever seen, and the tranquility of this island is a superb attraction away from the rat race!

Look at Coral Gardens in Provo, Turks and Caicos. It's exactly what you say you are looking for.

Good advice. Anguilla or Provo both suit what you are looking for.

We just spent a week at Coral Gardens. I posted a trip report a few days ago if you are interested. If you have any questions, let me know. Owa

I agree with the above posters. We have been to both Anguilla and Provo 16 times. Great beaches accomodations and restaurants. When do you plan on going. On Provo we stay at Coral Gardens and on Anguilla the Frangipani. Can't go wrong with either. Feel free to e-mail for additional info. [email protected]
