We very much enjoyed snorkeling at Blue Cobblestone beach. It is past salt pond bay on the way to Ram's head.

Pulley, we are staying at Lavender Hill Suites in Cruz Bay although we are beginning the trip at Marriott Frenchman's Reef in STT for the first few nights. Are you familiar with Lavender Hill Suites?

Thanks Mrssparky, so many places to snorkel, I think we need to stay the month!

Yes we almost bought a unit there in 2006. On our last trip to St. John (Hurrican Earl) we met a couple staying there and they loved it. They said it was clean, nice & good A/C. You will have an easy walk to town9downhill) and a slightly harder walk back(uphill). If you want a high end meal I suggest you try ZoZo's at Gallows Point. Great values with huge portions are to be had at Cafe Roma. They are in my top 2-3 Italian Restaurants I've ever been to - neat but not gaudy. For some true local food try Uncle Joe's for BBQ chicken & ribs!!

Thanks for the restaurant tips, Pulley!! Love Italian, so we'll definitely have to try them! So excited! :)

Their hot Italian sausage is the best ever! It's spicy though.
