best area in st. thomas for singles

Is there a single scene in Nov. in St. Thomas? Was considering staying at Sapphire beach. Any recommendations on a different area to stay?

hi mrb, welcome to fodors. happily ppl play year round in the islands.
sapphire is not near anything except a marina. you could drive to red hook (under 15 mins) or charlotte amalie (45 mins?) driving home with a buzz not such a good idea!
for singles fun places i'd consider negril, playa del carman, aruba or st. martin

Sapphire has a beautiful beach & Red Hook is just a few minutes away where lots of action is including Duffy's, Molly Malone's & a few other places. You could also stay at Elysian Beach Resort which is also not far from Red Hook & the nightlife there.

On the other hand, if you stay at Marriott's Frenchman's Reef you'll be close to Havensight (less than a 5 minute ride) where there's Shipwreck or the new Mojo's which is getting really popular. Also, just a short distance (walking distance) from Mojo's is Yacht Haven Grande where the latest hot spot is Fat Turtle.
