Best All Inclusive Resort???......

My fiance are traveling from Charlotte, NC to the Carribbean on our honeymoon at the end June 2008 for 6 to 7 days. I'm trying to select a nice smaller all inclusive resort in the 3K-5K range that's not a giant mega resort. We'd like a place that has adults/couples only, good food, good service, nice beach, snorkeling, nice rooms and somewhere we can get out and do a day or two excursion. Thanks all!

Look at Secrets Capri, Playa Del Carmen, Mexico. www.secretsresorts.com. Not a giant mega resort, adults only, good food, good service, nice pool. Just outside of Playa Del Carmen.

We are recently back and stayed at two diffferent resorts and visited 20 or so.

We loved Le Blanc and were so happy we ended up there (after checking out of another supposed 5 star AI after one day). The other gorgeous property was Iberostar Grand Paraiso.

You already have this question posted on this forum. To eliminate confusion, it's best if you just add on to the same post instead of starting another identical one.

Since your budget has gone up by $1000 for the week, that's helpful, since it also includes airfare from Charlotte. I still think that Couples Swept Away would be a good choice for you if you can find a room category in your budget. It's on the beach in Negril, which is on the west coast of Jamaica. You've got fabulous sunsets on a gorgeous beach that always has something happening on it. Jamaica is a great island for doing excursions. Maybe take one down to the south coast to see the crocodiles on the Black River, have a Red Stripe at the Pelican Bar, an offshore bar that you have to reach by boat. You could also explore YS falls one day.

Check out www.luxurylink.com for some pretty good to amazing auction deals--you'd have to buy your airfare separately, but many of these auctions are sold at very good rates. You just have to know what you're bidding on. Even if you don't bid through that site, it's a great one-stop site that will show you all kinds of higher-end spots in the Caribbean and give you an idea of how much things cost.
