Best AI for Honeymoon in Barbados?
Hi,
just wondering what the best all-inclusive in Barbados is for a honeymoon. Looking at Crystal Cove, but not sure of the quality of food and beach?
Would like best beach, pool and great food, on the western side of the island. Please don't fraun on me for going AI, but as it is my honeymoon, I don't want to have to think about cabs and reservations.
thnx.

The best hotels are not AI. In my opinion, and others may have different views, Crystal Cove would be a good choice. Slightly better would Turtle Beach Resort- however this is on the south coast(only 5 minutes from St Lawrence Gap). Sorry, haven't stayed there but try a "search" on this site for it to find peoples views. Although going AI treat your new wife to a special night out- there are loads of fabulous restaurants! Have a wonderful honeymoon!

One nice thing about Turtle Cove is that you have exchange dining with several other resorts.
I would recommend it over either of the Almond Beach Properties.

I was under the impression that Turtle Beach was on a rough beach and geared for kids? I will be traveling in late August, so I don't expect a lot of kids anyway? I wish that Tamarind or Colony had an AI option? Anyone ever been to Mango or Bougenvilia?
thx

I think you are thinking about Almond Beach with the kids. Turtle Cove is very small and has exchange with Tamirand and Colony Club.

Just to let you know that Turtle Beach resort is a large all inclusive resort on a nice stretch of south coast beach (shared with Casuarina and Bougainvillea resorts)while Turtle Cove is a house/villa also on the south coast, but further east than the previous mentioned hotels.
