Best Activities For Short Trip To Cap Juluca

My husband and I are going to Cap Juluca with another couple for the 5 day quick getaway package in a couple of weeks. Since our time is limited, we are looking for advice on what to do. Options include snorkeling, shopping and golf in St. Martin, spa services at Cuisinart, tennis, day sails or beach hopping on Angulla. We've never been to Anguilla, but have spent many wonderful vacations in the British Virgin Islands and spent most of our time snorkeling and sailing. Thanks!

Ann,

Be sure to leave yourself enough time to relax at CJ!! I wouldn't bother with the golf--the course in St. Martin can look pretty barren if there hasn't been much rain. A lunch and afternoon spent at Scilly Cay, a day sail to Prickly Pear and around Anguilla and a couple of days to explore other beaches via rental car should be great. I am sure you will want to try as many of the wonderful restaurants as you can. Fill in the blanks with spa treatments and tennis, if you wish. YOu will have a great time.

Thanks, Kathy! You confirmed what we were thinking. I have one more question. Are credit cards readily accepted in Anguilla, are ATMs readily available or should we bring our cash with us?

Credit cards are not normally an issue at most places. However, there are relatively few ATMs. Most places take VISA, some Amex.
You are only there quickly---so try to relax. Anguilla has wonderful beaches. A quick trip to St Martin...the spa at Cuisinart, Scilly Cay...etc.

CJ has a great spa service-directly to your room, facials, pedicures etc. Check out the brochure in your welcome package. The sunset cruise or any trip on CJ's boat The Justice is fun! Scilly Cay is a must-watch out for those rum punches, wonderful lobster. We just got back from our 8th trip to Cap Juluca. The hotel has always been wonderful-now it is better than ever. The new Pimms is excellent, so is the tapas restaurant, Kemia(one of our favorites for lucnch). Your trip will go too fast!

Thanks for the tips. Only 3 more days until we go -- I'm so excited!
