We go every year in June. Stay at fairmont southampton gold. Expensive, but great beach. Golf. Love the Waterlot Inn, especialy sunday brunch. Gold level serves breakfast early, afternoon tea, and appetizers @5PM. Water and soft drinks are free. There's an honor bar in the gold lounge. Rooms are OK were a little outdated, but I think have been redone. Pool is small. We've had dinner at elbow beach and coconuts at the The reefs both seem nice. The faimont hamilton princess is downtown no beach, but you can catch the ferry to southampton and use that beach.

Can you give us a little more information? Do you want to be in town, near restaurants and shopping, or out on the ends of the islands?
What's your budget?
What's important to you - pool, beach, easy public transportation? On-site restaurants? Seclusion? Some places are better suited for people who aren't planning on doing much away from the hotel. Some are better for people who just need a room. The more info you can give us, the better our recommendations can be.
Have a great trip!

We stayed at teh Belmont, good food and good service, golf course nearby, recommend the hotel if you are not looking at staying in town.

The Reefs, Cambridge Beaches, Elbow Beach, or Tucker's Point. Fairmont Southampton - comes with access to their property in Hamilton (and free ferry across the harbor to town).

Fairmont Southampton is a large property that sits up on a hill with restaurants and beach access (at bottom), golf, spa, shops, etc...
The Reefs is a small intimate property with pretty much adults only, a couple of restaurants on site, very elegant and very nice, just not as "big hotel".It depends on what kind of a trip you want.
We stayed at the reefs years ago with my entire family (a few little ones in tow and they were the only children at the resort). No Tvs in our room, but I know they have changed that in some of the rooms. I am guessing probably in all. It was a very nice stay, food was excellent. They have recently upgraded and added alot to the resort.
The Southampton Fairmont was more commercial, but I like having the amentities. Also, we went back with teens and this was more kid friendly and had lots to do. Waterlot is a great restaurant.
